final lesson

I enjoyed this lessons. This time I write blog in English for the first time, so I want to continue to write diary. I will enjoy spring vacation! I will go trip several times, probably Guam, Osaka and so on. Next year I will do my best in studying. Thank you!

self-disclosure

We always open self-mind in our life. It is called “self-disclosure”. It means that you say your personal information and your feelings honestly. In other wards you show real yourself without false hood. This action usually is conducted naturally.

Between Japanese and Americans have difficult patterns. A lot of Japanese don’t like self-disclosure voluntarily. Because people think that it doesn’t have to need open mind by myself. Also, we don’t want to show our weak point, and real-self. Japanese is modest than Americans. A lot of Japanese tend to worry about existence of other people and other people say. Therefore people take time until trust others. For example, a case like this is given. Many women worry about makeup and clothes when we meet other people. We try to make a good ourselves image. Japanese people try to make trust with others. After that finally people carry out self-disclosure.

But Americans is differently from Japanese. Americans willingly show self-information. They don’t afraid of others. Because almost all Americans think “Myself is myself.” ”Others are others.” How to think by Americans is people make trust, doing self-disclosure. They are strong in self-assertion. And in SNS, like mixi or facebook, Japanese puts an important point in following privacy and has uneasiness towards a real name exhibition by all means. Therefore people use some different name. But Americans usually use real name.

Why do people scare self-disclosure? People are afraid of rejection by significant others. According to a search by Bamlund D.C, we have “private-self” and “public-self”. Compared with Japanese and Americans, Japanese are secretive principle, contrasted with Americans are not very secretive, they are more public. For example, if Japanese introduce by themselves, Japanese will tell other people to living place, school name, hobby and working place. While Americans will introduce themselves, they say name at first. After that, they will say “What is your dream?” ”What is your hobby?” ”What are your interest?” and talk about private things. Like this, Japanese don’t mention private things willingly, and people say some information anyone already know. But Americans say hardly like Japanese. In short Americans had everyone know about us. But, if we try to make strong human relationship each other, we have to do self-disclosure.

In 2012

In 2012, I have to search a new part time job. Because, the shop which I have worked will be closed on January 31th. I need money!! I want to go to trips. Also, we must study English. I want to take high score in TOEIC test. And I want to be a good at cooking. Now, I don't cook at all, so I will try! I want to spend good days than last year. 

12/31- 1/1

On December 31, at night, I ate Soba and watched TV with my family. I saw the old year out and greeted the new year over talking with my friends by cellphone. After that  we went to a shrine by car with them for "Hatsumoude". We went to ”Naritasan Shinsho-ji”"成田山新勝寺"in Chiba. It is a famous shrine.It was a little crowded, but we went to this place. It took 50minutes. However we enjoyed driving and talking. My hometown's friends are very nice friends.We can talk about everything. Afterwards,We stayed my friend'house. Also, we went to watch the first sunrise, in Japanese "Hatsuhinode"near Kasumigaura lake. It was very beautiful. Ａt noon we went to shopping.I bought Hukubukuro. I was happy.

I went to karaoke with my friends. I often  meet them, we enjoyed this time. Afterwards, we played Billiards. We sometimes play some sports,  for example, tennis or table tennis or basketball. However, I played Billiards  for the first time. My friends are good at playing it. I did 't know how to play, but It  was exciting. Also we played table tennis. we were very active for a day! we ate Yakiniku at dinner. we could talk for a long time. I enjoyed a full day.

Today, I went to shopping. I bought a one-piece dress and a bag. Because, on  January 8th is coming of age ceremony in my hometown, after that I will go to class reunion. I will meet many friends after a long time. I look forward to meeting them. From tomorrow, we have to go to school, I want to meet friends soon!!!! But, I don't want to get up early.....!

December 19th

When I went back home on the way, I got a train with my friend. And the vehicle is very crowded. Then I noticed that there were a lot of foreigners. We were surrounded by them. We were surprised. However it was interesting.

Today I got some gifts from my friend. I was very very happy(>_<)♪They are very cute and nice things. I want to use soon ^^! I appreciate to my friends. And today, it is the end of classes in this year 2011!! We can enjoy winter holiday. I want to meet some friends.  However I have to write some reports during these holidays and have part time job. Have a nice year:-)☆
